Hot Mix Asphalt Plant

Compare hot mix plants →For specifications that demand batch-by-batch accuracy, Vinayak batch mix plants re-screen hot aggregate, weigh every ingredient and mix it in a twin-shaft pugmill.
In an asphalt batch mix plant, the dried aggregate is lifted by a hot elevator to a four-deck vibrating screen and stored by size in hot bins. For each batch the control system weighs aggregate, filler and bitumen separately, then discharges them into a hot-oil jacketed twin-shaft pugmill. About 45 seconds later the batch drops into a truck or a hot mix storage silo.
This lets you change mix designs quickly and hold grading tightly. That matters for wearing courses, airport pavements and projects with strict quality audits. Every stage, from feeding through heating, drying, screening and mixing, is controlled from a PLC panel, so manual handling is kept to a minimum.

Separate weigh bins for aggregate, filler and bitumen give stable, repeatable quality.
Designed for low fuel consumption, low noise and easy maintenance.
Built to meet strict emission norms, with a large filtering area on every model.
Siemens make touch-screen HMI and a computerised panel with manual override.

Batch plants are dispatched from Ahmedabad in containers, with batching tower sections, bag house and drum shipped as modules. See how export supply works on the asphalt plant exporters page.

If you mainly produce one or two mixes for highway base and binder courses, a drum mix plant usually costs less to buy and run. If you need frequent mix changes, recycled or specialty mixes, or strict per-batch records, choose a batch plant. Our hot mix plant comparison sets out the differences.
A batch plant dries aggregate in a drum, then re-screens it hot, weighs aggregate, filler and bitumen separately for each batch and mixes them in a pugmill. A drum mix plant mixes continuously inside the drum. Batch plants offer tighter control per batch and easier mix changes; drum plants are simpler and cheaper to run.
ABP-80 mixes 1000 kg per batch, ABP-120 1500 kg and ABP-160 2000 kg, each with a cycle time of about 45 seconds.
Pollution control is dual stage: a centrifugal double cyclone as primary, and a bag house filter as secondary (wet dust type available as an option on the ABP-80).
The batch plant is designed for easy relocation and is also known as a mobile or portable asphalt mixing plant. Discuss your relocation needs with the team when requesting a quote.
