When a contract moves along a corridor, a fixed plant becomes a cost. The mobile asphalt drum mix plant mounts every unit on its own chassis with axles, brakes, landing gear and king pin. Cables, sockets and junction boxes come pre-wired, so the plant is set up on levelled ground without civil foundations.

For municipal and rural road work, the compact small portable asphalt plant configuration keeps the footprint and generator load down.

What is an asphalt drum mix plant?

An asphalt drum mix plant is a continuous hot mix plant. Cold aggregates are proportioned, dried and heated in a rotating thermo drum, then coated with bitumen and filler inside the same drum, and the finished hot mix is discharged without stopping.

What capacities does Vinayak offer?

Drum mix plants are offered as DM-45, DM-50 and DM-60, covering roughly 40 to 120 TPH. Asphalt batch mix plants are offered as ABP-80, ABP-120 and ABP-160. Higher capacities can be offered on request.

Is the plant available in mobile form?

Yes. Every drum mix model can be supplied stationary or mobile. The mobile version has each unit mounted on a chassis with axles, wheel hubs, brakes and tow bar, and comes pre-wired so it can be set up without civil foundations.
